What is ThetaSwap?
ThetaSwap is the decentralized exchange (DEX) of the Theta Network. You can swap any TNT-20 token, such as TFUEL, wTHETA and TDROP, straight from your own wallet, and earn trading fees by adding liquidity to pools. It is built and run by OpenTheta.
Which wallets can I use?
MetaMask and other browser wallets, any wallet that supports WalletConnect, the Theta Wallet (browser extension and mobile app), or just your email address through Magic. Inside the Theta Wallet app you are connected automatically.
How does ThetaSwap find the best price?
Every quote compares the direct pool between your two tokens with the route through TFUEL (for example TDROP → TFUEL → wTHETA) and picks the one that gives you more. The price impact, minimum received and route are shown before you confirm.
What does a swap cost?
Each pool charges 0.3% of the trade, which goes to its liquidity providers. You also pay a small network fee in TFUEL. ThetaSwap charges nothing on top.
Can I buy tokens with a card?
Yes. Pay by card through Wert to buy TFUEL, or buy selected tokens in one step: Wert pays TFUEL into a ThetaSwap swap that sends the token to your wallet. Wert's fees and identity checks apply.
What would my crypto be worth if I had invested earlier?
The returns simulator replays ThetaSwap's daily prices since 2021. Pick start and end dates, split an amount between Theta tokens and pools, keep a ratio by rebalancing, add a monthly buy or staking yield, and compare the result with Bitcoin, Ethereum or holding TFUEL. Swap fees and price impact are included. Every token also has its own investment calculator.
How do I list my token?
Anyone can create a pool for a TNT-20 token on the Pool page; the token is then tradable immediately. Verified badges come from the Theta token list. Project owners can sign in with the token owner's wallet on the Manage page to add a description, links and a logo to their token page.
Is ThetaSwap safe to use?
Swaps settle on-chain from your own wallet and ThetaSwap never holds your funds. Anyone can create a token, including fakes of real projects, so ThetaSwap marks unlisted tokens and asks you to confirm them. Always check a token's contract address before you trade.
